Writers are responsible for the following tasks:

• Writing and editing website copy, news releases, articles and blog posts

• Consulting with editors to fine-tune copy

• Meeting strict deadlines

 

Ideal candidates should have the following skills:

• Strong writing and editing abilities, particularly in writing for the web

• Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines

• Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field. Graduation from Journalism School is highly desired.

• Experience in the field of public relations, marketing, journalism or political campaign communications.
